As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) with over 15 years of experience in oncology care, I provide comprehensive mental health care to individuals of all ages and all backgrounds. I believe this dual expertise allows me to address the unique mental health needs of individuals navigating complex medical diagnoses, offering holistic support that integrates physical and emotional well- being.
Drawing from my oncology background, I recognize the profound emotional toll that chronic illness and treatment journeys take on individuals and their families. My commitment to patient- centered care led me to expand my scope of practice into mental health, where I use evidence- based approaches to foster resilience, emotional healing, and personal growth.
As a devoted women’s health advocate, I believe in focusing on issues such as reproductive health, trauma recovery, and the psychological aspects of chronic illness. I am committed to empowering women through education, advocacy, and a personalized care approach.
In addition to clinical work, I am passionate about mental health advocacy, improving access to care, education, and the integration of innovative therapies to improve quality of life. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my fur-babies, supporting animal welfare initiatives, and exploring the outdoors.
